2016 Mid-Winter Singing Festival Workshop Schedule Saturday, January 30. Lyric sheets provided. One wristband, good for all workshops, is only $10 (All college students w/ID and kids 18 and under are free, just stop by the desk and pick up a wristband.) Wristbands will be on sale at the Hannah Center, beginning at 10:30 am, Saturday morning. (We will not sell out of wristbands; there is plenty of workshop room for everyone.) 12:20 - 1:20	Sing Along with Hank Williams, that is. Workshop includes "Cheatin’ Hearts," "Honky Tonkin’," "Lonesome Whippoorwills," "Train Whistles," and "Jambalaya on the Bayou." 1:40 - 2:40	The 7 Secrets of Success: Arranging and Performing a Song With Guitar 1:20 - 4 pm "Getting up and singing a song in public with only your own guitar for a friend is something I’ve been doing professionally for 40 years. I’ve learned a few things in that time I wish I had known way back when. We’ll take our time and explore seven “secrets” to doing a good job of making a song sound its best." - Joel M. 3:00 - 4:00		Country Music Favorites Mary Sue Wilkinson and Roger Brown	Songs in "The Sound of Music" Rachel Alexander Get ready for the Saturday evening sing along! "My Favorite Things," "Climb Every Mountain," "Do-Re-Mi," "Edelweiss," "Sixteen Going on Seventeen," "Something Good," "Maria," "So Long, Farewell," "The Sound of Music," "How Can Love Survive," "The Lonely Goatheard,"...the list goes on. Warm up your vocal chords and have fun singing these Rodgers and Hammerstein classics.
