Julie Austin

Julie Austin is a dynamic, energetic performer with over twenty years experience playing concerts, giving keynote presentations and workshops, leading preschool circle times and conducting trainings for teachers, administrators and parents. She has a degree in musical performance as well as a masters degree in early childhood. Julie is also a national Wolf Trap Master Artist and High/Scope educational consultant and teacher trainer.

Julie has made several award winning recordings, including "Fandagumbo", a Parent's Choice Silver Honors winner. She sings and accompanies herself on guitar, autoharp and jawharp. All songs are very interactive and use movement, sign language and irresistable singalongs to involve everyone. Julie's warmth and sense of humor as well as her musical expertise make her a favorite of audiences everywhere.
